Jesse James Rutherford (born August 21, 1991 in Newbury Park, California) is an American actor and singer, best known as the lead singer of the band The Neighbourhood. ==Career== After acting in commercials as a child, Rutherford landed a role in the 2002 film ''Life or Something Like It'', followed by a role in the 2002 film ''Bundy'' and in a small television role in the 2002 ''Star Trek: Enterprise'' episode ''Marauders. Rutherford once performed as a rap artist under the title Jesse James. He released a solo rap-hip hop mixtape called "Truth Hurts, Truth Heals". Rutherford and Jez Dior also released several tracks together under the name of "The Good Boys", which Rutherford has further stated the duo was the worst thing he has ever done. As of 2015, Rutherford is in a relationship with longtime friend; Devon Carlson, creator of Wildflower Cases.
